Contract Length : 13 weeks

Job Overview :

Join Monument Health’s 56-bed Progressive Care Unit, providing exceptional care to adult patients with a variety of complex medical conditions. This position offers a supportive team environment with strong resources and opportunities to float across adult inpatient units.

Skills & Duties :

  • Manage adult patients with cardiac, respiratory, and general medical conditions (CHF, COPD, DKA, Sepsis, GI Bleed, etc.)
  • Cardiac rhythm interpretation, vasoactive & insulin drip titration (Heparin, Cardizem, Amiodarone, Levophed, etc.)
  • IV starts, blood product administration, drain / tube & catheter management, chest tube maintenance
  • Must be adaptable and a strong team player

    • Requirements :

    Experience : Minimum 1 year (1.5+ years preferred; under 1.5 years requires manager approval)

    Certifications : BLS, ACLS (required)

    License : Active South Dakota or Compact RN license

    Education : Completion of an approved nursing program
