Aviation Intern

The Aviation Intern will support the planning, development, and execution of operational initiatives within the Flight Department, with a focus on unmanned aircraft systems (UAS). This internship offers hands-on experience in aviation operations, data analysis, regulatory compliance, and safety management. The Aviation Intern will receive mentorship from experienced aviation professionals and exposure to real-world utility aviation operations and technologies. Key developments for the intern will include :

• Assist in the planning and coordination of UAS operations and flight schedules
• May act as Remote Pilot in Command of select UAS missions
• Support data collection and reporting for operational performance, safety metrics, and compliance tracking
• Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, and scheduling teams to ensure operational readiness
• Contribute to the development of project execution schedules and crew briefings
• Provide administrative support for meetings and document preparation
• Engage in safety management system activities and risk assessments

This position follows a hybrid schedule, requiring on-site presence three days per week and remote work two days per week.
