Superintendent - Federal Projects

Federal Construction Superintendent – Travel Role | National General Contractor

We’re looking for an experienced Federal Superintendent to join a respected and growing General Contractor with a proven track record in federal and military construction. This is a traveling position with projects nationwide and includes an excellent per diem and travel package backed by full company support.

Key Responsibilities :

Oversee daily field operations on federal projects, ensuring full compliance with USACE / NAVFAC standards and contract requirements.

Lead and coordinate on-site teams with a focus on safety, quality, and schedule performance.

Collaborate closely with Project Managers, Quality Control Managers, and Safety Officers to maintain smooth project execution.

Participate in preparatory meetings, three-phase inspections, and daily coordination with government representatives.

Supervise subcontractor activities, enforce site safety, and maintain accurate project documentation.

Qualifications :

Minimum 5 years of field supervision experience on federal or military construction projects.

Strong knowledge of USACE / NAVFAC standards and federal project processes.

Proven track record of managing safety, quality, and schedule on complex projects.

CQM-C (Construction Quality Management for Contractors) certification preferred.

OSHA 30 required or ability to obtain.

Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
