Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This position offers an excellent opportunity for licensed Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) and Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) to provide critical support within a dynamic K-12 school environment serving students from kindergarten through 4th grade. The role is based in Irmo, South Carolina, with a contract duration spanning the full school year.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Conduct comprehensive student assessments to identify communication needs.
  • Develop individualized goals aligned with students educational requirements.
  • Participate actively in IEP meetings to collaborate with educators, families, and related service providers.
  • Deliver direct therapy services addressing a range of needs including articulation, language, and support for students with moderate to significant special education requirements.
  • Manage caseloads across multiple schools, providing itinerant services within the district.

Qualifications and Experience :

  • Hold a valid South Carolina license and Educator Certification as required by the state.
  • Completed Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred for SLP candidates.
  • Demonstrated experience working with pediatric populations in school or healthcare settings.
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations, including general education and special education students.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills to manage caseloads and documentation requirements.
  • Work Details :

  • Location : Irmo, SC.
  • Hours : 37.5 hours per week.
  • Caseload involves working within several schools, servicing students from age 4 to 4th grade.
  • Travel time between schools is compensated; mileage reimbursement may apply.
