Description :

Unit includes Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Speech Therapy.

Candidates must have at least 2 years of experience.

BLS certification is required.

Speech Therapists must have CCC-SLP certification and experience with swallow studies.

Occupational Therapists with swallow experience are preferred.

This role requires weekend availability; candidates must work every Saturday or Sunday.

Holidays are included in the permanent staff rotation, typically one major and one minor holiday.

Uniform consists of provided polo shirts with khakis or black pants.

Staff will be required to work in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

For inpatient roles, the focus will be general inpatient, rehab, or sub-acute care.

Outpatient positions include services offered at freestanding clinics.

The patient population will include various diagnoses, such as ortho, neuro, pediatrics, and lymphedema.

Common diagnoses for inpatient care include spinal cord injuries, strokes, brain injuries, orthopedic cases, and surgical recovery.

Orientation includes three shifts relevant to specific floor requirements.

The charting system used is Cerner.

Candidates will be required to cover various areas as needed based on the assignment.

Cancellation policy allows the hospital to cancel up to four shifts per 13-week assignment.
