Under the direction of the finance managerial staff, the Accountant I will engage in vital governmental accounting activities, with a primary focus on payroll accounting. This position will serve as back-up to the Payroll Administrator in processing the bi-weekly payroll. In addition, this position will provide support with a variety of general accounting duties. This position offers an opportunity to advance your accounting skills in a dynamic environment, where you will operate with professional independence while receiving guidance from experienced finance staff.
