Responsibilities Work in the Labor and Delivery unit of an acute care Level I Trauma Center Night shift with options for 3x12 or 4x12 hour schedules starting at 19 : 00 Care for patients in high-acuity, academic medical environment Weekend shifts required every other weekend Block scheduling may be accommodated On-call required : two 4-hour blocks per 6-week schedule No floating outside of Labor and Delivery Uses Epic EMR system Scrubs provided by facility Provide comprehensive care and support to laboring and postpartum patients Work in a collaborative, multidisciplinary team environment First-time travelers are eligible for this assignment Facility can auto-approve up to 7 days of requested time off; more requires approval Parking is available for a monthly fee Obligation to participate in emergency or disaster response activities if required Requirements Active CT or compact RN license required prior to start date (pending license accepted for consideration) BLS and NRP certifications required Minimum 2 years' experience in Labor and Delivery nursing (1.5 years accepted with Level I Trauma or travel experience) Experience at a large trauma center required One professional reference required Must reside at least 75 miles from facility Must complete facility-specific modules pre-start Flu vaccination required with no declinations accepted COVID-19 vaccine and booster required unless medical or religious exemption provided Cannot have prior disciplinary actions on nursing license Must not have worked at the facility within the past 2 years if a returning traveler Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-622270.
