R&D is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Process Engineer to join their Process Development Engineering team. As part of the Keurig Dr Pepper Process Development and Manufacturing Implementation team, Process Engineers provide high level strategic direction for the company's growth and lead innovation in product manufacturing, production capacity, safety, quality, and cost.
The Process Engineer is responsible for becoming a technical expert across all areas of Coffee and Specialty Beverage Processing and facilitating the implementation of process innovations and product changes across the KDP Hot manufacturing network. In this role, the individual will work on ideation & implementation of innovative improvements to the existing processing systems as well as identify new processing solutions for new product innovations.
The individual in this role will be responsible for the following :
- Work directly with Beverage Development and R&D teams to identify long-term innovative process solutions and system improvements
- Conduct research and develop expertise in the science of coffee roasting and ingredient processing in continuous pursuit of innovative solutions
- Drive technical innovation of processes that align with corporate initiatives for product design, manufacturing, sustainability, quality, productivity and continuous improvement
- Conduct process capability analysis for new and existing equipment and processes including the evaluation and calculations for Cp,Cpk.
- Create Design of Experiments (DoE) to strategically plan and execute experiments to advance knowledge and understanding of product and process interactions.
- Knowledge and experience developing Process Flow Charts and P&IDs.
- Provide on-site support for the manufacturing implementation and commissioning of new processes and processing equipment across the KDP Hot manufacturing network.
- Maintains strong relationships with process equipment OEMs and suppliers to support initiatives in capital planning, process changes, and improvements to deliver state-of-the-art manufacturing capabilities
- In this capacity the Process Engineer will develop processing specifications and create and execute commissioning plans that ensure the successful delivery of processing solutions to the network.
- As a subject matter expert, the Process Engineer must uphold a strong relationship and frequently communicating with each manufacturing plant to provide technical leadership and support
- Analyze multiple categories of production data using statistical data analysis for data-driven decision making
Requirements :
