Location : East Texas Treatment Facility, Henderson, Texas (facility operations). This role involves assessments and treatment planning for inmates in accordance with MTC and Texas Department of Criminal Justice directives.

Pay and Schedule

Pay : $17.85 per hour

Work schedule : Full Time, Monday–Friday, 8-hour days

Position Summary

Reports to the designated community team lead. Responsible for providing and completing assessments, implementing complex treatment and discharge plans, and providing counseling services to inmates. Serves as a resource to other counselors and provides clinical supervision and guidance as appropriate. Provides services to inmates in compliance with MTC and TDCJ directives.

Post Hire Requirements

Must complete Correctional Awareness Training (CAT) prior to inmate contact. Must complete annual in-service training and pass an annual background check as approved by the Texas Department of Criminal Justice.
