Job Title : Mammography Technologist | Radiologic Technologist

Location : Lansing, MI 48912 (Michigan healthcare jobs)

Assignment Type : Locum tenens (Travel Contract)

Duration : 13 weeks (Start : 10 / 13 / 2025 – End : 1 / 12 / 2026)

Shift : 5x8-hour days (hours vary from 6 : 30 AM to 3 : 00 PM; start times may range from 6 : 30 AM to 11 : 30 AM)

Hours per Week : 40

Estimated Weekly Salary : $2320-$2380

Setting : Outpatient imaging center, with potential to float to other Lansing locations

Patient Population : Adults and Geriatrics

Scrub Color : Wine

Orientation : 40 hours

Pre-approved Time Off : 1 request per contract

Weekends : No weekend shifts required

Mammography Technologist Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of recent experience as a Mammography Technologist or Radiologic Technologist

Active ARRT (R) and ARRT (M) certifications required

Current BLS certification (AHA preferred)

Proficiency in 3D Mammography, Digital Mammography, and Screening Mammograms

Knowledge of digital quality assurance, radiation safety, and universal precautions

Outpatient X-ray experience preferred

EPIC electronic documentation experience a plus (training provided)

Proof of high school education required

Ability to float to multiple Lansing healthcare locations as needed

Healthcare Job Responsibilities

Perform high-quality 3D and digital mammography exams, including screening and diagnostic procedures

Ensure patient safety and comfort during all imaging procedures

Maintain accurate electronic documentation using EPIC

Follow digital quality assurance protocols and radiation safety guidelines

Apply universal and isolation precautions as required

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver excellent patient care

Float to other outpatient imaging locations in Lansing, MI as needed
