Influencer & Community Partnerships Manager

Job Title : Influencer and Community Partnerships Manager

Salary Range : $29–$36 hourly

About the Role : Athena is seeking an experienced and driven Influencer and Community Partnerships Manager to lead our global creator ecosystem across the cannabis and hydroponics space. You will manage influencers, sponsored cultivators, creators, and brand ambassadors, building authentic partnerships that deliver measurable results while staying disciplined, compliant, and community-first. This role reports directly to the Director of Marketing and requires an on-site presence at our Jacksonville Beach location.

Key Responsibilities

Program Ownership

  • Build and maintain a roster of influencers, creators, and brand ambassadors (domestic + international).
  • Define briefs, deliverables, timelines, usage rights, and exclusivity; manage contracting in partnership with Legal.
  • Onboard creators to Athena brand guidelines, product education, SOPs, and Growers Hub participation.

Relationship & Campaign Management

  • Run monthly check-ins; track deliverables, approvals, posting schedules, and audience feedback.
  • Coordinate product seeding, sampling, and event support to ensure timely and accurate content.
  • Audit creator channels to confirm compliance with required deliverables.

    • Measurement & Optimization

  • Own KPIs : reach, engagement, CTR, attributed sales / leads, coupon / affiliate use, dealer lift, and cost per outcome.
  • Build dashboards, monthly / quarterly reports, and provide recommendations for scaling or optimizing campaigns.
  • Deliver regular reporting on ROI, engagement, and brand impact.

    • Community Integration

  • Drive creator activations in Growers Hub (AMAs, grow logs, Q&As, SOP spotlights).
  • Source authentic cultivation stories and case studies for marketing and sales enablement.

    • Operations & Budget

  • Manage creator pipelines, briefs, calendars, and payouts.
  • Forecast and reconcile budgets while ensuring operational efficiency.

    • Required Skills & Tools

  • Experience with affiliate creator tools (Grin, Impact, LTK / LikeToKnow, Aspire, Tagger) and UTMs.
  • Knowledge of CRM automation, project management tools (Asana), and social listening platforms.
  • Proficiency in G-Suite, Microsoft Office, CRMs, and online marketing platforms.
  • Background in commercial cultivation or hydro retail preferred.

    • Qualifications

  • Experience in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3–5+ years in influencer / creator management, talent partnerships, or social marketing (brand or agency).
  • Proven experience negotiating contracts, usage rights, and deliverables on a scale.
  • Strong understanding of cannabis hydroponics culture and authentic grower needs.
  • Data-driven with experience building dashboards and interpreting performance metrics.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and skilled at managing multiple priorities.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills; dependable under pressure.

    • Work Environment and Physical Requirements

  • This is a 100% on-site role in Jacksonville Beach, FL.
  • Prolonged periods working at a computer.
  • Ability to perform tasks such as sitting, standing, walking, stooping, reaching, and repetitive motions.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
