Job Title : Diesel TechnicianJob Description

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Technician to perform essential shop mechanic functions on a fleet of heavy-duty diesel trucks. This role involves hands-on repair work on various equipment, including hydraulics, electrical systems, compressors, and pumps, as well as stick welding and fabricating parts.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs on heavy-duty diesel trucks.
• Conduct shop repairs on equipment, including hydraulics, electrical systems, compressors, and pumps.
• Execute stick welding and fabrication of parts.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues related to diesel engines and fleet vehicles.
• Carry out preventive maintenance procedures to ensure vehicle and equipment reliability.

Work Environment

Work primarily in a truck yard located in Orange, CA, with both outdoor and shop settings. The environment is typically hot and sunny, with some shaded areas available.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Orange, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $38.00 / hr.
