Required Qualifications : Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in psychology, education, student personnel, or closely related field. One year of related experience in an advising, student support or customer service setting.

Preferred Qualifications : Previous experience working in a higher education setting. Proficiency in Microsoft Teams, and Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, and Outlook).

Key Responsibilities : This is not a comprehensive list of responsibilities.

• Provides comprehensive academic and career planning services to current and prospective students using effective communication techniques with various modes of technology and encouraging and guiding students to define and develop realistic goals.
• Participates in ongoing departmental training and cross-training activities to ensure an understanding of the college's programs, curriculum, graduation requirements, policies, and procedures, and resources and services available to students, coordinating with staff in the areas of financial aid, registration and admission, and other enrollment management services.
• Informs and advises current and prospective students, staff, employers, faculty, and community partners regarding educational offerings, degree requirements, career information, and college and community resources.
