About The Position

Job Title : Respiratory Therapist

Profession : Respiratory Therapy

Shift : 12 hours, Days

Hours per Shift : 12

Experience : Minimum 3 years in ICU, preferred NICU experience

License : Must have a current Respiratory Therapy license in hand

Certifications : BLS, Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) via NBRC

Must-Have :

Must be able to assist with bronchoscopies.

Must be proficient with Cervo I, Jets, and Oscillators.

Must have strong ICU experience (minimum 2 years).

Must have clinical prescreen approval.

Description :

No local rates; must adhere to a 50-mile radius rule.

Not eligible to work permanent or per diem within another facility in the past 12 months.

Respiratory therapists are responsible for 35-40 procedures daily.

Position requires covering adult patients.

Team members must respond to Clinical Response Team calls.

All ABG responsibilities will fall under the therapist's duties.

Team players with strong experience in high-acuity settings, time management, and communication skills are preferred.

Expected to work weekends and holidays as part of the schedule.

Assigned to specific areas each day with no floating to outpatient areas.

Black scrubs are required for this position.

Pharmacy coverage is available 24 / 7.

Cancellation policy allows for up to 4 shift cancellations per 13-week assignment, with 3 shifts for shorter assignments.
