A well-established hospital in western Massachusetts, close to the Greenfield area, is actively seeking a skilled and dedicated Radiologist for a locum-to-permanent position. This role is ideal for a board-certified Radiologist with experience in mammography and breast procedures, looking to transition into a long-term position. Join a collaborative team providing top-notch care in a supportive and resource-rich environment.

Position Details :

  • Position Type : Locum to Perm
  • Specialty Required : Radiology with a focus on mammography and breast procedures
  • Shift : Daytime shifts, 7 : 30 AM to 4 : 00 PM
  • Location : Near Greenfield, MA
  • Start Date : Flexible, with ongoing dates available for locum coverage through 2025
  • Weekend Requirements : None specified
  • On-Call Requirements : None specified

Key Responsibilities :

  • Conduct high-quality mammography and breast procedures, including :

    • Stereotactic procedures

  • Localization procedures
  • Ultrasound and MRI-guided breast interventions
  • Manage an average daily caseload of approximately 60 cases, varying by type
  • Collaborate with a team of 9 Radiologists, supported by a dedicated team of Mammography Technologists, Director, Receptionists, IT, and PACS staff
  • Utilize Epic EMR for efficient documentation and patient management

    • Required Qualifications :

  • Certification : Board Certified by the American Board of Radiology (ABR)
  • Licensure : Active Massachusetts medical license
  • Experience : Demonstrated experience in mammography and related breast procedures
  • Credentialing : Estimated timeframe is approximately 2 months for candidates already holding a Massachusetts license
