Estate Planning Attorney (Riverhead)

If you have experience in estate planning, you may be an excellent addition to our growing law firm. We are looking for a highly analytical candidate with good negotiation and organizing skills who can work full time. As our estate planning attorney, you will draft wills, trusts, and powers of attorney for our clients and their families. To ensure that an estate's management is handled in accordance with the wishes of the estate owner, this position requires a significant level of responsibility. $90,000 - $151,000 yearly

Responsibilities :

• Represent clients in court proceedings as needed
• Maintain client files to ensure they are properly organized and up to date
• Advocate on behalf of clients by understanding their needs, effectively analyzing the situation, and forming a strategy for a plan of action
• Discuss plans with clients for distributing clients assets
• Collaborate with senior partners and paralegals to effectively move files through the civil litigation process
• Being a direct point of contact for clients on the creation and implementation of their respective estate planning strategy in a way that will make the client want to leave a 5-star Google Review with your name in it
• Advising clients about their estate planning options, the pros, and cons of each strategy, and providing a fiduciary recommendation from a down-to-earth perspective that clients will understand and appreciate
• Being a mentor to less-experienced team members and an advocate for team member growth and education
• Contributing to the success of the team, even if it means going outside of your job description
• Keeping unneeded drama out of the office and contributing to our solid team culture
• Helping to grow the firm's presence throughout Suffolk and Nassau Counties
