Position Title : Early Intervention Evaluator (Licensed Clinical Social Worker / Clinical Psychologist)

Position Summary :
We are seeking a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Clinical Psychologist to join our Early Intervention team. The primary responsibility of this role is to conduct comprehensive evaluations of children suspected of having autism spectrum disorder (ASD). The ideal candidate will have experience working with children and families, as well as proficiency in using diagnostic tools such as the Childhood Autism Rating Scale, (CARS-2) or the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule (ADOS-2). Ideally, this would be in-person in the child’s home in your preferred NYC borough; but can also be conducted via Telehealth with parent consent.
Key Responsibilities :
- Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of children suspected of having autism spectrum disorder (ASD).
- Utilize standardized assessment tools, including but not limited to CARS-2 and ADOS, to diagnose ASD.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive evaluation reports.
- Provide support and guidance to families throughout the evaluation process.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of assessments, diagnoses, and treatment recommendations.
- Stay current with research and best practices related to ASD assessment and intervention.
Qualifications :
Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Clinical Psychologist (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) with current NYS licensure.Minimum of 1year of experience working with children and families, preferably in an early intervention or clinical setting.Demonstrated experience with standardized diagnostic tools such as CARS-2 and / or ADOS.Strong understanding of autism spectrum disorder and evidence-based practices for assessment and intervention.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children, families, and multidisciplinary teams.Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Bilingual or multilingual abilities a plus.Key Perks :
