Join us! The GoFundMe team is searching for our next Senior Operations Project Manager located in Chicago, Illinois. This role is a key contributor to our Operations Strategy team, reporting to the Senior Manager, Strategy & Analysis. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for enhancing our global customer experience through supporting strategic initiatives that drive growth, efficiency, and effectiveness across GoFundMe's operations teams.

The Job

  • Drive planning, development, and execution multi-team strategies for operational growth for all teams within the Operations organization
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify critical stakeholders, gather product and project requirements, and build customized timelines for successful project completion
  • Proactively identify and resolve operational challenges and inefficiencies, focusing on creating sustainable improvements to prevent future issues
  • Engage with senior stakeholders to support short- and long-term change management
  • Autonomously drive individual projects as part of broader strategic initiatives, where needed
  • Maintain comprehensive process documentation for initiatives and tools within Operations
  • Measure project success and performance by developing analytical insights and reports with the support of other Operations Strategy team members
  • Stay updated on the latest trends, news, and disruptors in the payments, charitable giving, and fintech space

You

  • 3-5 years of experience, including internships, in Business Intelligence, Strategy, Business Operations, Project Management, and / or Operations Management
  • Bachelor's or equivalent degree in business, engineering, finance, mathematics, economics, or similar field
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, Google Suite, or similar office productivity software
  • Strong knowledge of (and direct experience using) common project management techniques
  • Detail-oriented with a strong emphasis on accuracy and quality of work
  • Collaborative team player who is also capable of independent thought and execution
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence others
  • A proactive approach to work with a "get things done" mentality
  • Resilient and adaptable in the face of changing priorities or unexpected challenges
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and an innovative mindset
  • Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently and thrive in a fast-paced environment without losing sight of business strategy
  • Preferred

  • Prior experience with payments, fintech, ecommerce, social media, or marketplace companies a plus
  • Prior experience with Looker, Tableau, or similar software a plus
  • Experience with (or strong interest in) managing or supporting trust and safety, compliance, customer support, or financial risk operations and associated key performance indicators
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance and risk trends in the ecommerce, social media, marketplace, or financial services industries

    The total annual salary for this full-time position is $99,000 - $148,000 + equity + benefits. As this is a remote position, the salary range was determined by role, level, and possible location across the US. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
