Job Type – Hybrid

Stanley Consultants is looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer with Power Generation to join one of our offices. This position targets a candidate with 10+ years of experience applying standard mechanical engineering techniques on projects in power generation, university central plants, industrial facilities, or related fields.

What You Will Be Doing

• Serve as a technical liaison with clients and coordinate technical efforts within discipline areas, including collaboration with other disciplines (structural, electrical, civil, I&C).
• Support preparation of engineering and cost estimating reports through data collection and analysis.
• Prepare and check design computations for system design, equipment and pipe sizing, and conditions of service.
• Assist in preparing technical specifications for equipment and materials.
• Lead and mentor 2D / 3D designers and less experienced engineers to develop designs and drawings for projects.
• Work with design and equipment sizing software to prepare engineering and design documents.
• Perform or assist with occasional field or site visits for observations, data collection, and documentation.
• Consult with construction personnel regarding design constructability, field conditions, sequencing, and scheduling of construction events.
• Other related duties as assigned by the Department Manager or Project Manager.

$136,100 - $181,025 a year

(Salary range for CO, IL, and MN locations)

Stanley's Approach to Flexibility

We offer a hybrid schedule for eligible positions (two days in the office, two days remote, and Friday flexible). Some roles may offer a compressed workweek with a 9 / 80 schedule, giving every other Friday off.
