Hazen and Sawyer is seeking a water engineer with a minimum of 10 years of experience to join our Dallas or Fort Worth office. Candidate to be involved with a wide range of water infrastructure projects, which can include treatment process design and construction, distribution systems, wastewater conveyance, including pumping and pipelines. In addition to the technical requirements, the position requires experience with project management or the desire to grow into a project management role. Position will include high level of client development and management, supported by our Texas offices.

Key Responsibilities :
Participation in the evaluation, planning, and design of water, wastewater, stormwater, reuse, and infrastructure projectsParticipation in a project team from the initial study and conceptual design stages through to the construction of major water related infrastructure projectsFieldwork and site visits from design through construction may be requiredOther responsibilities may include :Project management of a large project or several small projects
Client development and management supported by our local officesPlanning, organizing, and supervising staff of engineers on projectsRequired Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in environmental, civil, chemical, or mechanical engineeringPE licenseStrong interest in the water / wastewater industryExcellent communication skills, self-motivation, organization, and attention to detailMust be proficient in Microsoft Office SuiteA minimum of 10 years of experience in planning, design, or construction of water-related projectsExperience related to preparing conceptual / feasibility studies, development of construction drawings and specifications, bidding assistance, and support of office and field-related construction servicesFamiliarity with engineering and construction management softwareCapable of supervising staff and managing projectsPreferred Qualifications :
Advanced degree (Master’s or Doctorate) in environmental, civil or mechanical engineeringProficiency in GIS, CAD / BIM, BioWin, PowerBI, and databasesWhat We Offer :
