Senior Billing Specialist

A company is looking for a Sr Billing Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

Manage billing workqueues and generate claim edits for clean claims

Correct claims that have been rejected or denied by payors

Train billing specialists on billing edits, claim errors, and denials

Required Qualifications

High school diploma or GED equivalent required

Minimum 2 years of experience in insurance billing in a hospital environment

Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel

General knowledge of medical terminology, ICD9-CM, ICD10-CM, and CPT codes
