Maintenance Technician
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Technician to join our client’s production team. The ideal candidate will bring strong mechanical aptitude and experience performing preventive and corrective maintenance on industrial equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Location : Franklin, WI
Schedule : 2 / 2 / 3 rotating schedule, 5 : 30 PM–6 : 00 AM (2nd Shift)
Pay Rate : $35–$40 per hour
Duties :
Perform maintenance activities related to production equipment, machinery, building systems, and facility operations.
Complete timely repairs to minimize downtime and optimize parts and labor usage.
Assist with maintenance of HVAC systems, boilers, and other utilities.
Read and interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
Conduct continuous assessments of machinery and supporting systems, recommending improvements as needed.
Collaborate with Production, Quality, and Operations teams to resolve mechanical issues.
Follow preventive maintenance schedules and maintain accurate maintenance logs.
Respond to emergency maintenance situations, stabilizing equipment and mobilizing necessary resources.
Ensure all tools and equipment are removed from production lines and properly cleaned before startup or after repairs.
Requirements :
High school diploma required; technical or trade education preferred.
5+ years of progressive maintenance experience, ideally in a manufacturing or food production environment.
Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and repair industrial systems.
Willingness to work overtime as needed to support production.
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, work in varied temperatures (including freezer areas), and lift 10–50 lbs.
Effective communication skills (written and verbal); bilingual English / Spanish preferred.
Basic math and problem-solving skills.
Work Environment :
This role involves working in both production and warehouse environments with varying temperatures. The position requires standing, bending, kneeling, climbing, and lifting throughout the shift.
