Senior Rails Web Engineer

A company is looking for a Senior / Principal Rails Engineer to develop and maintain web applications in the power and energy industries.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and deploy scalable web applications using Ruby on Rails

Architect and optimize database schemas and API architectures for high performance

Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with cross-functional teams for successful project delivery

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)

5+ years of web development experience, particularly with Ruby and Rails

Proven experience with RESTful API design and development

Solid understanding of database systems and experience optimizing complex queries

Experience with testing frameworks and CI / CD pipelines
