Litigation Attorney - Foreclosure
A leading legal services provider specializing in foreclosure, bankruptcy, and real estate litigation is seeking a Foreclosure Litigation Attorney to join their Melville, NY office. Requirements & Qualifications :
Juris Doctorate and active New York Bar license in good standingMinimum 5 years of foreclosure litigation experienceProven experience handling contested foreclosure mattersCapable of managing a high-volume caseloadStrong understanding of state, local, and federal compliance within the foreclosure spaceAbility to work in-office during training, with hybrid flexibility afterwardMust Haves :
Demonstrated experience drafting and reviewing litigation pleadingsAbility to manage client communications, court appearances, and status conferencesStrong organizational skills to track deadlines and case updates across multiple filesAbility to provide strategic, risk-sensitive solutions in complex foreclosure disputesComfortable interacting with opposing counsel, clients, and internal teams in a collaborative settingPreferred Background & Skills :
Prior experience in mortgage banking, title disputes, or bankruptcy proceedingsBackground working with banks, servicers, or institutional lendersFamiliarity with REO processes and eviction litigationExperience working in diverse, high-volume legal environmentsInterest in long-term career growth and leadership within a law firm setting
