Family Medicine Physician (FP) needed in New Orleans, LA.

We are seeking a Family Practice Physician to join this well-established, community-based practice in New Orleans. This health center provides comprehensive medical services to individuals and families across all age groups.

Salary and Benefits

  • $185,000 - $200,000 for full-time (Part-time will be prorated based on hours worked)

Responsibilities

  • Monday Friday (8 : 00 AM 5 : 00 PM)
  • On-call coverage for adult and pediatric patients
  • Provide comprehensive medical services for patients of all age
  • Order diagnostic tests and develop treatment plans
  • Offer primary and secondary preventive maintenance care
  • Maintain accurate and detailed medical records via EMR
  • Ensure high-quality clinical care in a safe, efficient manner
  • Participate in patient care conferences and team meetings as required

    • Requirements

  • Successful completion of an accredited Family Medicine Residency with a minimum 3 years of experience in Family Medicine, or 3 years in Internal Medicine.
  • Clear and active medical license in the state of Louisiana
  • Board Certification / Eligibility : ABFM or AOBFM
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR)
