About The Position
- Seeking an experienced Physician Assistant to provide locum coverage in a Neuro ICU within a level 1 trauma center.
- The provider will manage critically ill neurological and neurosurgical patients, cover neurosurgical consults, and support stroke and trauma cases in a high-acuity environment.
Job Responsibilities
Provide night shift coverage (6 PM – 6 AM) in a Neuro ICU.Manage an average of 10 ICU patients per night plus 5 neurosurgical consults.Evaluate, stabilize, and treat patients with neurological emergencies, including stroke.Collaborate with attending neuro-intensivists (phone support available overnight).Document all patient encounters and care activities in Epic EMR.1664458EXPTEMP
Job Requirements
Board Certified PA (licensed in Ohio).Active Ohio license (no exceptions).Clean background required.BLS and ACLS certifications required.ENLS certification highly preferred.Prior experience in a Neuro ICU within a level 1 trauma center, including stroke management.Benefits
