Senior Technical Designer and Project Manager

We are seeking a Senior Technical Designer and Project Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate must reside in the DC area and have 8-15 years of experience in Interior Architecture and project management of large commercial projects.

Qualifications :

  • 8-15 years of experience in Interior Architecture and project management of large commercial projects
  • Opportunity to work and lead through all stages of a project from programming, design through construction administration, including project management if desired
  • Strong knowledge of design, trends, construction methodology, material application, and manufacturer-supplier appropriateness
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of architectural and commercial interiors building systems
  • Thorough understanding of schedules, consultant coordination, and project budget
  • Knowledge of contract writing best practices and the ability to identify risk mitigation strategies
  • Ability to design multiple projects of a similar scope
  • Proficiency in Revit required
  • Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to effectively meet deadlines
  • Positive solution-oriented management approach
  • Licensed Architect preferred
  • Candidates must be able to perform all essential job functions, with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Exceptional project and inter-personal performance history
  • Manage project scheduling, staffing, budgeting, set up, close out, and profitability reporting / accountability
  • Manage invoicing and collection for projects as required
