A company is looking for an Overdose Helpline Operator, General Internal Medicine (per diem).

Key Responsibilities

Manage incoming calls from individuals seeking assistance related to overdose

Provide immediate guidance on overdose recognition and response, including naloxone administration

Connect callers with local resources and document interactions in the REDCap database

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

No formal education requirement

Relevant lived experience with overdose, harm reduction, or substance use preferred

Demonstrated crisis management skills with empathy and professionalism

Technological proficiency in helpline software and digital communication platforms

Commitment to confidentiality regarding caller information and interactions
