St. Agatha Catholic School in Southwest Miami-Dade, Florida is looking to hire a qualified and experienced daily Substitute Teacher who will teach Middle School English (6-8 grades). This candidate will assume full responsibility of students while providing daily instruction and assessment. The Substitute Teacher performs all duties and responsibilities in alignment with the mission, vision, and values of the Catholic Archdiocese of Miami.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor's degree in Education or related field preferred.
• State FLDOE Teaching certification in K-8 preferred.
• Must be able to collaborate with administration and parents.
• Able to maintain established routines and procedures of the school and assigned classroom(s).
• Able to assume responsibility for managing student behavior in class and throughout school day.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with colleagues to facilitate student instruction and assessment.
• Proficiency in the English language, verbal and written.
• Proficient with MS Office and educational technologies such as online gradebooks and Promethean Board.
• Fully committed, supportive and respectful of the mission and tenets of the Roman Catholic Church.
