Job Purpose

The Audit & Claims Clerk is responsible for processing, researching, and reconciling inventory discrepancies or claims. This includes tracking / reporting of inventory such as Finished Goods, CHEP Pallets, PECO Pallets and other product / materials as needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Performs physical counts of inventory including Finished Goods, Pallets, and Materials in order to maintain accurate inventory.
• Counts, reconciles, and reports inventory on a daily basis.
• Accurately inputs inventory control data to ensure inventory integrity.
• Completes necessary documentation thoroughly, accurately, and on-time.
• Traces history of items to determine reasons for discrepancies between inventory and stock control records and recommends remedial actions to resolve discrepancies.
• Reconciles customer claims against Inventory Adjustments and researches as appropriate
• Other tasks as assigned by supervisor / manager.
