We are currently seeking to hire an Agribusiness Field Sales Manager to join our team! You will be responsible for direct sales activities involving our Unique and Specialized Agribusiness Insurance Solutions. Our solutions protect Agribusinesses from loss of revenues when a product or service provided to a Farmers is cancelled due to weather events.

Responsibilities :

  • Work with Underwriters and other staff on sale of new products to large growers and agribusiness product and service providers.
  • Support existing customers with policy renewals and related field support
  • Conduct presentations and field visits for both prospects and at trade association events
  • Conduct phone and in person sales calls with prospects
  • Work closely with Marketing to develop sales support tools and materials
  • Develop and execute innovative sales strategies

Qualifications :

  • Previous experience in sales, customer service, or related field
  • Experience selling agricultural products or services to farmers, particularly row crops
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms
  • Strong work commitment and desire to work with both large growers and agribusinesses
  • Ability to build trusted relationships and rapport with clients
  • Experience with agricultural P&C insurance and / or crop insurance desirable
  • Ability to travel across the Midwest on a regular basis (roughly 50% travel)
