Statement of Purpose
The LVN plays a key role in supporting the health and well-being of patients by performing clinical tasks such as administering medications, monitoring vital signs, assisting with medical procedures, and documenting care in the electronic medical record.
Major Tasks, Duties and Responsibilities
- Review the client’s chart prior to medication administration to ensure accuracy and appropriateness.
- Administer injections using proper sterile techniques in accordance with clinical standards.
- Review of the most recent urine drug screen results for clients receiving Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT).
- Obtain and record vital signs prior to medication administration.
- Monitor the client briefly post-injection to observe for any immediate adverse reactions.
- Document all procedures and observations accurately in the client’s electronic medical record (EMR).
- Coordinate care with medication prescribers and other interdisciplinary team members to ensure continuity and quality of care.

Requirements :
Must be at least 18 years of age.Must have a valid California driver license and liability insurance if driving personal vehicle on Center business. Nursing program from an accredited schoolCertificate as a Licensed Vocational Nurse or Licensed Practical NurseLicensed Vocational Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse licensureExperience :
