Forklift Operator
As a Forklift Operator in our manufacturing facility, you'll play a vital role in keeping materials and products moving safely and efficiently. You'll be responsible for loading, unloading, staging, and relocating stock to keep production flowing and inventory organized. Your work helps support a team that transforms recycled paper into high-quality corrugated sheets for our customers.
Shift : 2nd Shift (2 : 00 PM 10 : 00 PM) Must be available for overtime and occasional weekend work as needed
Starting Pay : $17.50 / hour Eligible for pay increases at 90 days and 6 months based on performance and attendance.
What You'll Do
- Safely operate a forklift throughout the facility, following all company safety protocols
- Complete forklift inspection forms before each shift and report any maintenance needs
- Locate and deliver raw materials to machines on time and remove finished goods as needed
- Keep stock organized and safely stacked in designated storage areas
- Track material locations accurately using paperwork and basic computer systems
- Assist other forklift drivers and support various departments as needed
- Follow the production schedule and help identify ways to optimize workflow
- Complete production and safety reports accurately and on time
- Keep work areas clean and comply with housekeeping standards
- Follow all company policies and maintain a safe working environment

This is a primarily seated role while operating a forkliftYou'll occasionally step off the forklift to assist team members on the floorYou must be able to lift and move up to 40 poundsSome walking, bending, and reaching will be required during your shiftYou will work near moving mechanical parts and in an environment where noise, vibration, and airborne particles are commonThe facility is not climate-controlled, which means it can be very hot in the summer and cold in the winterPersonal protective equipment (PPE) such as hearing protection, protective footwear, and safety glasses must be worn at all timesWhat We Offer
