Texas Institute of Electronics (TIE) is looking for a Facilities Mechanical Engineer I or II to join our team. As a member of the TIE Facilities team, you'll be directly responsible for overseeing the safe design and operation of various mechanical systems for our semiconductor wafer fab and test facilities.
The successful candidate will be proficient in building mechanical systems design, operations and equipment to include chillers and boilers, cooling towers, pumps, heat exchangers, filtration systems, piping, HVAC and duct systems. The candidate will be able to execute projects in these areas and provide design, construction, and commissioning support as well as troubleshooting as needed for ongoing operations. It is expected that they have an understanding of requirements and limitations in the following key expertise areas.
Purpose
The Facilities Mechanical Engineer I or II is needed to oversee the safe design and operation of various mechanical systems for our semiconductor wafer fab and test facilities.
