Accounting Manager
Our Client is seeking an Accounting Manager to join their franchise organization that provides services to cleanup and repair damage to residential and commercial properties due to water, fire, mold, storm or other disasters. The Accounting Manager plays a crucial role in managing job file and office finances and budgets. Their primary responsibilities are to record and analyze job file finances, maintain financial records, and provide ownership with accurate financial snapshots of the business. The Accounting Manager works closely with the General Manager and the Chief Financial Officer.
- This position will support two locations - Lynchburg, VA and Myrtle Beach, SC - one onsite, and the other remote.
Duties and Responsibilities :
Enter all job cost expenses into accounting software and ensure sync to management system Monitor all job cost ratios and gross margin progressCoordinate and lead weekly production meetings with project coordinators, project managers, and business leaders to review job and payment statusEnsure daily sync between accounting software and job management systemManage timely accounting-related job dates in management systemReconcile job costs with accounting software and close job files weekly, when readyMaintain a current and orderly accounting systemExport timesheets to ensure payroll is run in a timely fashionEnter all office expense transactions into accounting software to ensure bank accounts and credit cards are reconciled monthlyPrepare financial reports for review with OwnersCompute and monitor key financial ratios for review with OwnersPrepare and file government remittances on timeProvide accountant with required year-end business and staff informationReceive vendor bills, reconcile to POs and enter into accounting systemPay bills according to payment termsUpdate and maintain vendor and subtrade filesRequest and maintain updated Vendor / Subtrade Agreements, COIs, and other related documentsPrepare invoices as required on job filesReceive, process, and deposit paymentPrepare aging receivables report for review with divisional leadersNotify Project Managers and Owners of problematic and questionable accountsPrepare files for closing.Provide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns and questionsEnsure client satisfaction by maintaining clean and accurate job financialsFoster an environment of collaboration and teamwork within the division and companyRepresent the brand in a positive lightCompetencies Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :
