Responsible for architecting, implementing, and supporting power system solutions for Networking, storage & server systems and related products. In this position you will help develop hardware solutions to be integrated into common platform designs including processors, high speed serial interfaces, NPUs, FPGAs, High speed memory (DDR4 / DDR5) and high-speed PCB layout. You will work with design, software / firmware, mechanical and thermal engineers. You will lead the design of DC-DC switch-mode power supplies and component selection. The successful candidate will work across disciplines to assure power supply designs meet the power, thermal, and safety requirements of the system specification. You will work closely with Celestica multi-disciplinary engineering and manufacturing teams to understand the system requirements and contribute or lead the specification, design, and debug of complex power delivery systems for datacenter products.

Skills & Responsibilities :

• Design power solutions for custom server & storage and Networking products using x86, ARM SoCs, DDR4 / DDR5, NVMeoF, PCIe, RAID controllers and SAS. Drive power systems architectural direction for next generation devices & platforms
• Defining power architectures, work with SI engineers to define SI constraints, Guide CAD designers and bring-up and debug issues.
• Set standards and achieve cost and performance for product
• Make design choices, component selection and supplier selection.
• RLC component selection, create and maintain the preferred list
• DC relevant IC selection, create and maintain the preferred list
• Manage BOM cost
• Design maintain building block of DC relevant circuit, including BBU, except PSU. Base on specific requirement, including schematic and layout design
• Architecture Lead and contribute to power delivery system architecture and specifications.
• Design, analysis, and simulation of high current and low noise power delivery circuits.
• Debug Contribute to system bring up, debug, and validation in the lab.
• Verification Write and execute test and DVT plans.

Experience :

500W) as well as ultra-low noise power delivery circuitry

Typical Education :

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Master’s is preferred.

Educational Requirements may vary by Geography.

Travel :

Occasional overnight travel is required
