Purpose :

The role of a Licensed Plumber is to independently oversee the installation, maintenance, inspection, and repair of plumbing systems-including water, gas, and drainage-ensuring all work aligns with relevant codes and project specifications. This position also involves guiding apprentice plumbers on-site with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities :

Supervise plumbing projects, manage crews, and mentor apprentices

Perform installation, troubleshooting, and upkeep of plumbing systems in compliance with code requirements

Recognize and resolve safety concerns related to plumbing installations

Interpret blueprints and project documents; follow instructions from supervisors or contractors

Complete necessary quality control documentation

Exercise sound judgment and make on-site decisions without affecting work quality or schedule

Qualifications :

Minimum of 4 years hands-on plumbing experience

Active residential or journeyman plumbing license issued by a recognized State Board

Current and valid driver's license

High level of precision and attention to detail

Team-oriented mindset with strong collaboration skills

Must successfully complete a DOT physical and pass a drug screening
