Queen Maeve is seeking a passionate and experienced Events & Floor Manager to join our dynamic hospitality team. We're looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and loves delivering exceptional guest experiences.
As our Events & Floor Manager, you'll be the main point of contact for all restaurant reservations, and special events - from the first inquiry to flawless execution. You'll ensure smooth day-to-day floor operations, maintain high service standards, and foster a warm, welcoming atmosphere for every guest.
Key Responsibilities :
Oversee and manage all restaurant bookings and reservations using platforms such as Toast and Tripleseat.
Coordinate and execute all private and group events from inquiry through completion, ensuring seamless communication and client satisfaction.
Supervise front-of-house staff and ensure the highest level of guest service and operational excellence.
Collaborate closely with the management, culinary, and bar teams to deliver memorable experiences.
Monitor guest flow and table turnover to optimize seating and maximize revenue.
Handle guest inquiries, special requests, and any on-the-spot problem-solving with grace and professionalism.
Contribute to staff training, scheduling, and team motivation.
Maintain clear and detailed reporting for management on bookings, event performance, and guest feedback.
Qualifications :
Minimum 3+ years of experience in a managerial or events coordination role within a high-volume restaurant, hotel, or hospitality venue.
Strong customer service and interpersonal skills - friendly, professional, and guest-focused.
Excellent organization, multitasking, and communication abilities.
Experience with Toast POS and Tripleseat (or similar reservation / event software) preferred.
Ability to stay calm under pressure and lead by example during busy service periods.
Flexible schedule - must be available for nights, weekends, and events as needed.
