Responsibilities As a healthcare professional in a Corrections facility, you’ll play a critical role in serving a unique and often underserved patient population. Your care will directly impact patient safety, wellness, and rehabilitation. A few of the responsibilities include : Deliver therapeutic interventions under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist (PT) , helping patients improve strength, mobility, and functional independence. Implement treatment plans, monitor patient progress, and adjust exercises as appropriate within the correctional healthcare framework.
