Schedule Day 4x10-hour shifts (07 : 00 - 17 : 30). On-call requirements include one day during the week and rotating weekends (Friday / Saturday / Sunday). Holiday on-call may also be required. Job Description The Registered Nurse in the Cardiac Cath Lab will provide high-quality nursing care to adult patients undergoing cardiac catheterization procedures. The role requires a strong knowledge of cardiac cath lab protocols, ability to perform in high-stress environments, and a commitment to patient safety and care standards. Responsibilities Perform cardiac catheterization procedures including left heart and right heart catheterizations, and percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI). Monitor patients pre- and post-procedure, providing conscious sedation as needed. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including respiratory services, radiology, and pharmacy for comprehensive patient care. Maintain accurate patient records using McKesson and Cerner charting systems. Administer and monitor procedural sedation. Participate in the management of dysrhythmias and ventilator management when necessary. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Minimum of 1 year of experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab. Current ACLS and BLS certifications are required. Experience with cardiac procedures including cardiac stent placement, IABP, and TAVR preferred.
