Bakery Concept Pastry Chef & Manager Requirements & Qualifications :
Minimum 5 years of professional pastry or bakery experience, including staff supervisionProven track record managing production for a high-volume scratch bakeryStrong leadership and communication skills for overseeing a team of 20+ employeesDeep understanding of doughs, pastries, and finishing techniques, along with cost control and schedulingMust Haves :
Hands-on presence in daily baking, decorating, and product quality checksAbility to train, mentor, and inspire a high-performing teamOversee ingredient sourcing, par levels, and production timelines to maintain efficiencyMaintain a spotless kitchen environment with adherence to all sanitation and food safety standardsBakery Concept Pastry Chef & Manager Preferred Background & Skills :
Culinary or pastry arts degree strongly preferredExperience in new concept development or bakery openingsStrong creative flair for flavor innovation, product presentation, and merchandisingEntrepreneurial mindset with a desire to grow alongside an emerging bakery brand
