Within our Tracy, CA manufacturing facility, we are seeking a highly qualified Maintenance Controls / PLC System Supervisor to join our Plant technical team. This role focuses on advancing maintenance, controls optimization, and production efficiencies. At Leprino Foods, the starting compensation for this role typically ranges between $91,000 and $110,000 . The position includes an annual target bonus of 10%
Responsibilities :
- Provide guidance and leadership to the Maintenance Controls department team.
- Make strategic decisions regarding industrial controls, safety, and departmental efficiency.
- Monitor plant control systems related to production and facilities, developing plans for preventative modifications to maximize uptime, quality, safety, and cost control.
- Plan and schedule daily staffing to maximize labor efficiency and meet maintenance needs.
- Lead and coach team members through technical training, safety, quality, and performance development programs.
- Build strong working relationships and foster a positive work environment.
- Supervise daily shift activities to reduce downtime related to controls and implement upgrades or modifications.
- Prioritize controls programming needs to ensure safety and quality while minimizing production downtime.
- Troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues, focusing on controls and PLC systems.
- Manage, develop, and execute employee training programs.
- Support a 24 / 7 manufacturing operation.
Minimum Qualifications :
Associate's Degree in Controls Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related field.At least five years of industrial controls experience, with applicable education possibly substituting for experience.Familiarity with SAP, Maximo, or similar manufacturing systems.Preferred Qualifications :
