Job Description
Epitec is seeking a Buyer to join our automotive client's team. As a Buyer, the candidate will play a pivotal role in sourcing and negotiation for assigned automotive commodities.
🔧 Top Responsibilities
- Lead negotiations for commercial commodities (mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, controls).
- Manage supplier rebate and pricing agreements.
- Drive cost savings and efficiency through global benchmarking and strategic sourcing.
- Ensure compliance with corporate sourcing policies and procedures.
- Prepare RFQs, analyze bids, and recommend preferred suppliers.
- Issue purchase orders and manage material returns and cancellations.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to align technical and commercial requirements.
- Pursue recovery costs and support continuous improvement initiatives.
