Job Description

As a Security Officer - Access Control in North East, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. In this role, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring access points, checking credentials, and conducting routine patrols throughout the premises. Pay Rate : $14.25 / Hour

Job Schedule :

DayTimeSat : 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

Sun : 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Monitor and control access to the logistics and distribution location, verifying credentials and managing entry and exit points for authorized personnel, visitors, and vehicles.
  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies as directed by Allied Universal.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating as appropriate according to established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe for irregularities.
  • Document and report any security-related incidents, unusual observations, or hazards encountered during the shift.
  • Assist with emergency response activities as required, following guidelines provided by Allied Universal and site-specific instructions.
  • Maintain clear and professional communication with clients, staff, and emergency responders as needed during routine operations and / or incidents.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
