Security Officer - Financial Site - Afternoon Shift

As a Dispatch Officer with Allied Universal at a prominent financial institution, you will play a crucial role in monitoring and coordinating security-related activities throughout the location. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence to help deter incidents, and providing exceptional customer service and communication. Pay Rate : $23.00 / Hour

Job Schedule : DayTimeThur 03 : 00 PM - 11 : 00 PMFri 03 : 00 PM - 11 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at the location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for financial institution environments.
  • Monitor and coordinate communications between security personnel, law enforcement, and / or emergency services as required.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of all communications, incidents, and dispatch activities.
  • Utilize security-related technology and communication systems to support operations and help to deter unauthorized activities.
  • Support regular and random patrols by coordinating personnel and resources around the business and perimeter as needed.
  • Assist in the implementation of site-specific policies and procedures to help to deter potential threats and maintain order.
  • Provide timely updates and information to management and / or relevant authorities regarding ongoing situations or incidents.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
