Travel Nursing Job Details

Location : Moab, Utah (Zip : 84532) – Utah healthcare jobs

Assignment Length : 13-week travel contract (Start : 11 / 10 / 2025 – End : 2 / 9 / 2026)

Schedule : Monday–Friday, 5x8 hour day shifts

Hours per Week : 40 (36 guaranteed)

On-Call : Rotating on-call (evenings, weekends, holidays; 7–9 days / month; 20-minute response time required)

Estimated Weekly Salary : $2100–$2250

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in Utah or compact state

Graduate of an accredited nursing program

Current BLS certification (required)

Current ACLS certification or ability to obtain within 3 months of hire

Minimum 1 year of recent perioperative or operating room nursing experience

Strong knowledge of aseptic and sterile techniques

Solid understanding of patient safety protocols and clinical precautions

Ability to work effectively under pressure and adapt to changing clinical situations

Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Physical and emotional stamina to manage emergency and trauma cases, including being the sole OR nurse on call

Willingness to take call and respond within 20 minutes as required for Utah nursing jobs

Operating Room Nurse Responsibilities

Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients before, during, and after surgical procedures

Circulate in the operating room and assist with a variety of surgical cases (General Surgery, Orthopedics, Obstetrics including C-sections)

Support Pre-op, PACU, and trauma cases as needed

Maintain strict adherence to aseptic and sterile techniques in all clinical settings

Advocate for patient safety and best practices throughout the perioperative process

Communicate effectively with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and the surgical healthcare team

Respond rapidly and accurately in emergency situations, including trauma cases in the ER

Participate in rotating on-call schedule and manage cases independently during off-hours
