HR Generalist / HR Analyst I
Longwood University invites qualified applicants to apply for the position of HR Generalist / Human Resource Analyst I. Longwood Human Resources is seeking a detailed, professional, customer service-oriented HR Generalist who will focus on recruitment and selection, onboarding, offboarding, and administering a complex benefits package. This position is located in Farmville, Virginia, and is required to work in person on Longwood University's campus. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
Essential responsibilities and duties include :
- Process the full cycle recruitment process from job vacancy announcements through the offer
- Responsible for benefits administration
- Responsible for onboarding
- Responsible for preparing and issuing employment contracts for new and returning staff / faculty
- Responsible for offboarding
- Maintain records and compile reports
- Ensure compliance with all Human Resources, University, and Commonwealth of Virginia policies, procedures, and practices, as well as applicable state and federal laws and regulations
- Provide courteous, professional, accurate, and timely responsiveness in all interactions with faculty, staff, students, and the public
- Maintain the highest level of confidentiality
- Other duties as assigned
