About The Position

Job Title : Cath Lab Technologist

Profession : Cath Lab Technologist

Specialty : Cardiac Cath Lab

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : 8H Days

Hours per Shift : Monday-Friday, 7 : 00 AM - 3 : 30 PM

Experience : Minimum of 1 year of experience required

License : RCIS

Certifications : ACLS, BLS

Must-Have : RCIS certification

Description :

The position involves performing cardiac catheterization and peripheral catheterization procedures.

Additional responsibilities include VNUS closure and some interventional radiology procedures.

Required equipment includes XIM software and x-ray machines.

The candidate must have experience scrubbing in as an RCIS Tech.

Call coverage is required until 5 : 00 PM daily, with a call team consisting of 2 RNs and 1 Tech.

The unit has 1 lab and 1 procedure room.

There will be a preceptor assigned for training purposes.

The individual will scrub into cases and receive orientation specific to each procedure.
