Senior Staff Accountant

A company is looking for a Senior Staff Accountant PIMS.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the full accounting cycle, including general ledger maintenance, journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end and year-end close processes

Prepare financial statements in accordance with GAAP and assist in compiling quarterly and annual NAIC financial statements

Oversee accounts payable processes, including invoice processing and vendor payments, while ensuring compliance and accuracy

Required Qualifications

4 or more years of applicable work experience

High School Diploma or GED is required

Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance is required

CPA certification is preferred

Experience in insurance accounting is preferred
