This position oversees providing operational oversight for all production at the facility. You will oversee personnel, making sure that AgState's safety standards, quality, are operational functions are completed in a timely and safe manner.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Execute routine operations of a grain / agronomy facility, ensuring direct reports are following policies and procedures related to employee and environmental compliance.
• Partner with other supervisors to meet customer specifications and timeline.
• Develop operational plans and monitor routine operations for all production processes.
• Assist in operating fertilizer plants and mixing chemicals for application.
• Prepare rail car and load cars according to specifications.
• Fill customer fertilizer orders according to the orders, run samples to ensure compliance with order, as well as Federal regulations, help load vehicles with product, and maintain inventory records.
• Train people to ensure location meets various government standards such as OSHA and AgState by conducting employee meetings to inform and educate.
• Prepare weekly inventory reports for various departments and assist location leaders with supplies, quality, and age of inventory.
• Perform general housekeeping sweep and clean facility to maintain appropriate dust levels and maintain AgState image.
